Description & Specifications
On a hot summer afternoon a lot of dogs and cats leave their bed and stretch out on the tiles or the bathroom floor, looking for somewhere cool. This round mat gives them that cool spot wherever you put it. Fill the centre with cool tap water and it becomes a soft, low water bed that feels cool to lie on, with no power cord, no freezer and no gel to leak.
The mat is made of thick, clear PVC in two layers. The flat centre holds the water and the ring around the edge fills with air, so the water stays in the middle and your pet has a soft raised edge to rest their chin on. The ocean print and the little floating fish make it fun for cats too. When summer is over, drain it, let it dry and roll it up for the cupboard.

Put the empty mat where it will stay, then fill it there, because it gets heavy once it is full. Measure your pet lying stretched out on their side and pick the size that fits them with a little room to spare. This mat is for resting, not chewing, so it is not suited to dogs that chew or dig at their bedding.

How do I fill it?
Put the empty mat on a clean, flat floor where you want it to stay. Open the water valve in the centre and fill it slowly with cool tap water until it feels soft but not tight, then close the valve firmly. Blow up the outer ring through its own air valve, with a small pump or by mouth.
Which size should I choose?
Measure your pet lying stretched out on their side. The Regular 65 cm mat suits cats and small dogs, and the Large 100 cm mat suits medium and large dogs, or two small pets lying together. If you are between sizes, go for the Large.
Is it suitable for dogs that chew?
No. The mat is thick PVC and handles normal pawing and lying down, but sharp teeth can puncture it. If your dog chews or digs at their bed, supervise them on it or choose a different cooling option. Keep nails trimmed and check the mat and valves now and then.
How long until my order arrives?
Roughly 12 to 20 business days all up: 2 to 3 days for us to process your order, then 10 to 17 days in transit, which covers international shipping, customs clearance and delivery to your door. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy.
Is shipping really free?

You'll get a tracking number by email within 24 hours of dispatch. Follow it on our Order Tracking page. Tracking often sits still for a week or so while your parcel is in international transit. That's normal.
What is your return policy?
30 days from delivery for change of mind, no restocking fee, provided the item is unused with its packaging and tags. Used pet products can't be returned for hygiene reasons. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
My item arrived faulty or damaged. What now?
Email us photos within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you in full, your choice. In most cases you won't need to post anything back.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Just email our customer service team with your order number. After 24 hours your order has usually gone to our supplier, but you can still return it under our returns policy once it arrives.
