Description & Specifications
Dress your little dog for the Christmas photos. This knitted dog jumper dress has a chunky cable knit top, a folded turtleneck and a pleated tartan skirt, finished with a small bow on the back. It is made for small dogs and puppies, from Chihuahuas and Toy Poodles up to Cavoodles and Bichons, and looks just as good at the family Christmas lunch as it does on a cool evening walk.
The soft acrylic knit stretches, so it pulls on over the head with the front legs through two short ribbed sleeves, with no buttons or velcro to fiddle with. The skirt sits over the hips and stays clear of the back legs, and there is a small leash hole in the back so you can clip a lead to a harness worn underneath. Choose classic Christmas red with red tartan, or soft pink with grey and pink plaid for the rest of the year.

Garment measurements are taken unstretched. Measure your dog's back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail and pick the size by weight and back length. If your dog is deep chested or between sizes, choose the bigger size.

Which size should I choose?
Go by your dog's weight and back length. S suits dogs of 2.3 to 4.1 kg with a back of about 25 cm, M suits 4.5 to 7.7 kg and about 32 cm, and L suits 8.2 to 11.3 kg and about 39 cm. Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. The knit stretches, but if your dog is deep chested (a Frenchie or Pug, for example) or sits between two sizes, choose the bigger one.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Delivery in New Zealand takes 12 to 20 days in total, so order by early December to have it in time for Christmas Day.
Is it too warm for a New Zealand Christmas?
It is a proper knitted jumper, so on a hot day keep it for the Christmas photos and take it off afterwards. It comes into its own on cool evenings and through autumn and winter, which is why we also offer the pink one. Never leave your dog in it in the sun or a warm car.
How long until my order arrives?
Roughly 12 to 20 business days all up: 2 to 3 days for us to process your order, then 10 to 17 days in transit, which covers international shipping, customs clearance and delivery to your door. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Free tracked shipping on every New Zealand order, with no minimum spend and no rural surcharge.
How do I track my order?
You'll get a tracking number by email within 24 hours of dispatch. Follow it on our Order Tracking page. Tracking often sits still for a week or so while your parcel is in international transit. That's normal.
What is your return policy?
30 days from delivery for change of mind, no restocking fee, provided the item is unused with its packaging and tags. Used pet products can't be returned for hygiene reasons. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
My item arrived faulty or damaged. What now?
Email us photos within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you in full, your choice. In most cases you won't need to post anything back.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Just email our customer service team with your order number. After 24 hours your order has usually gone to our supplier, but you can still return it under our returns policy once it arrives.
