3 pack of hollow treat balls: drop in kibble and let your dog work it out
Natural rubber with raised ribs and soft chewing nubs
Great for teething puppies and bored small dogs
Bounces and rolls unevenly for a livelier game of fetch
One green, one light blue and one orange ball in your choice of size

A pack of three simple rubber dog balls that do more than roll. Each one is hollow with one round hole, so you can drop a few pieces of kibble or small treats inside and let your dog nose, paw and chew it until they fall out. That turns a quick snack into ten minutes of work, which is handy for a bored puppy, a rainy afternoon inside or a dog that wolfs its dinner. With three in the pack there is always a spare when one rolls under the couch or gets left at the park.

The balls are moulded from natural rubber with smooth raised ribs and rows of soft triangular nubs between them, so they have a bit of give when your dog bites down and give teeth and gums something to work on, which teething puppies love. They bounce and roll a little unevenly, which keeps fetch interesting, and they rinse clean in warm soapy water. Each pack has one green, one light blue and one orange ball, all the same size and easy to spot in the grass.

FAQs

Go by your dog's size. All three balls in the pack are the size you choose. S (4.3 cm) suits puppies and toy dogs up to about 5 kg, M (5.3 cm) suits small dogs of about 5 to 10 kg, and L (6.4 cm) suits small to medium dogs of about 10 to 20 kg. The ball should always be too big for your dog to swallow, so if in doubt, size up. These balls are not made for large dogs over about 20 kg.

Dry kibble or small, hard treats that fit through the hole work best, because they rattle around and drop out as your dog rolls the ball. Start with a few pieces that fall out easily so your dog learns the game, then add more. Soft fillings like peanut butter are harder to clean out of the hollow centre.

The ball is made of flexible natural rubber for everyday chewing and play, which suits puppies and most small and medium dogs. It is not designed for very strong chewers who destroy most toys. Supervise play, check the ball now and then, and replace it if pieces come away.

Good Gear. Prices That Don't Bite.

Paw Harbour was created because we were tired of replacing chewed-through harnesses and flattened beds every few months. We only stock gear we'd happily use on our own pets: durable, well-made and sensibly priced. Every order ships tracked and free across New Zealand.
