Description & Specifications
A dog who wanders around the back seat is a distraction, and one who leans out between the front seats is worse. This seat belt lead keeps your dog in their own spot. The metal tongue plugs into the car's rear seat belt buckle like a normal belt, and the swivel clip at the other end goes on the back ring of your dog's harness. Your dog can still sit, stand, turn round and lie down, just not roam.
The strap is black nylon webbing with reflective stitching, so it is easy to find in a dim car. A stretchy bungee section gives a little when your dog moves about, so there is no hard jolt at the harness. Slide the adjuster to set the length anywhere from 47 to 70 cm. The swivel clip turns all the way round, so the strap does not twist.

Will it fit my car?
The metal tongue fits most standard rear seat belt buckles. A few cars use a different buckle shape, so check that a normal seat belt tongue goes into your rear buckle before you rely on it.
Should I clip it to a collar or a harness?
A harness. Clip it to the ring on the back of the harness so any pull is spread across the chest and shoulders rather than the neck.
How long should I set it?
Long enough for your dog to sit and lie down comfortably, but short enough that they cannot reach the front seats or the footwell. For most dogs that is between 47 and 60 cm.
How long until my order arrives?
Roughly 12 to 20 business days all up: 2 to 3 days for us to process your order, then 10 to 17 days in transit, which covers international shipping, customs clearance and delivery to your door. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Free tracked shipping on every New Zealand order, with no minimum spend and no rural surcharge.
How do I track my order?
You'll get a tracking number by email within 24 hours of dispatch. Follow it on our Order Tracking page. Tracking often sits still for a week or so while your parcel is in international transit. That's normal.
What is your return policy?
30 days from delivery for change of mind, no restocking fee, provided the item is unused with its packaging and tags. Used pet products can't be returned for hygiene reasons. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
My item arrived faulty or damaged. What now?
Email us photos within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you in full, your choice. In most cases you won't need to post anything back.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Just email our customer service team with your order number. After 24 hours your order has usually gone to our supplier, but you can still return it under our returns policy once it arrives.
